A hit-and-run driver struck a bicyclist in Anaheim early this morning, resulting in the rider's death. According to KTLA News, the accident happened on Orangethorpe Avenue near the intersection with Lemon Street at about 5:40 a.m. The preliminary investigation by the Anaheim Police Department suggests the bicyclist was hit by one car and either thrown or dragged for some distance before being hit a second time by a driver who remained at the scene. At present, no information could be provided regarding the make or model of the car driven by the hit-and-run driver.
